Be silent. Dont look for fame.
Ride your horse into the soul’s rose garden instead.
I have a rose there waiting for you.

The quote from Rumi in my Facebook feed this morning seems an apt
accompaniment to the photos of roses I’ve been playing with.
Roses, received on Thursday, photographed on Friday.
I love the way they arrive in different stages of opening – some still closed buds, others already unfolding to the world.

In the heat, their edges begin to fray and decay so quickly.
By Saturday, though not all of them are fully open, many edges begin to wilt.

These are inviting… quite beautiful.
Thanks!
Beautiful Blooms!
Yes, they have been lovely companions
